President’s Message

Mr. Vinay Kumar Tandon
EUPCCI President
Dear members,
It is quite a blessing that our state of Uttar Pradesh is gifted with good fertile land and natural resources along with unique bio-diversity. Specially the Eastern UP Belt which we belong to is unique in more than one way. However, focusing on the Industrial Spectrum, we can see some major developments and revivals happening in the last decade or so.
The huge resource of educated and skilled manpower is another great strength of this region and the chamber has been instrumental in understanding the availability of this resource and suggesting various ways and means to engage them in existing industrial set up alongside the blooming areas of service sector by imparting training in different emerging trades under Entrepreneurship Skill Development Programmes. This would provide considerable competitive edge in this global market and may bring a sea change in industrial scenario of the State in near future.
Friends, as I present before you the 66th Annual Report, I feel proud that your chamber is well acclaimed for operating within the framework of the Government of Uttar Pradesh, while acting as a key enabler for catalysing industrial growth and fostering economic development in the eastern UP region. Its members are pivotal in advancing diverse initiatives that significantly enhance the business landscape and community opportunities of this area at large.
We are proud that the unique insights and strategic contributions of our board members create a synergistic effect that propels our region to the forefront of industrial and economic progress in Uttar Pradesh. It has been my absolute honour that for its various such initiatives, I represented the chamber to be, honored by Shri Swatantra Dev Singh Cabinet Minister Govt of uttar Pradesh. During this Industrial Year, we got an opportunity to express our shares of concerns and gratitude to the Minister Heavy Industries Shri Mahendranath Pandey.
Friends, global competitiveness is the need of each and every enterprise irrespective of their status whether an exporting or non-exporting unit. We together must support each other as a regional conglomerate to take our businesses forward in a synergetic manner while taking advantage of the various government schemes and policies available to strengthen Indian MSME’s.
I extend my sincere thanks to the past and present council members, the executive team and all the members at large for their relentless support over the past decade under my presidentship. I would also take this opportunity to thank the Chambers Secretariat for its unswerving support during my tenure. Friends, besides maneuvering through some tough phases during the pandemic and fearlessly driving across our concerns to the government officials the past ten years have been a great learning experience!
I assure and promise that your Chamber is and will always be at your service to assist you and your enterprise for its unparalleled success while I urge each one of you to contribute effectively towards the Chambers triumph intonating it’s axiom Charaivaiti ! Charaivaiti ! as business is synonymous to continuity and we all believe that the “show must go on!”
